Fight For Your Rights!

Devanshu has posted the The 95 Theses of Geek Activism.

I think it's an important statement about the need for us all to make a stand against the major corporations and their plans to control what we can and can't do with our electronic data. It makes some really interesting points about privacy, open source software, file sharing, our right to use our data in the way we choose, and activism.

If we don't make a stand for what we want then we will just allow the big corporations to decide our future for us, and we all know that their priorities are profit related - and that doesn't always mean that they will act in our best interests.

It also adds to the debate about whether governments are eroding our freedom when they claim to be protecting us.

Unleash your inner geek.
