I got a Nintendo Wii! For my birthday! How cool is that?

For the uninitiated the Wii is the next-generation gaming console from Nintendo.

It's USP is a wireless, motion-sensing controller that supposedly brings a new dimension to games... and does it ever.

The Wii comes bundled with Wii Sports which comprises of Tennis, Baseball, Bowling, Golf and Boxing and the controller really does add something extra to these games. More than that, it brings gaming to new audiences; Since I got my Wii I've had friends and friends of friends asking if they can come round and have a play, and those that have had a go inevitably swear they've got to get one for themselves.

The console wars are getting interesting with the Xbox 360 well established and the PS3 on the horizon, but for me the Wii has already won.

All I want now is Zelda and that'll be me sorted for the duration.

OK, so I've mentioned that I used to be a bit of a comic book geek, and that I get a bit over-excited whenever a comic book related film is on the horizon but I can honestly say I haven;t been this excited about a film for a long time.

For me, Frank Miller is on of the finest comic book writers working today and the cinematography for this film just seems to lift it to another level. If you thought the style used in Sin City was fresh and interesting then I'm sure you'll love this movie.
